For over 30 years, our organization has stood as a trusted pillar of safety, compassion, and hope.
Our story began when a stray bullet shattered the peace of a kindergarten classroom. In response, fathers from the neighborhood came together to protect local youth and reclaim their community. What started as an act of courage grew into a powerful movement of service, mentorship, and family support.
Today, Buffalo Fathers Inc. continues that 30‑year commitment through impactful initiatives such as the Toy Gun Exchange, Mobile Response Team, and the Annual Christmas Toy & Food Drive. By connecting families with essential resources, safe alternatives, and meaningful opportunities, we work every day to create safer neighborhoods, empower young people, and build a stronger future for Buffalo.

For 26 years, Buffalo Fathers Inc. has proudly carried on the Toys for Joy Giveaway, bringing families together during the holiday season and helping ensure that children in our community experience the joy of receiving a gift.
This longstanding tradition has been made possible through partnerships with organizations including United Way, Catholic Charities, The Salvation Army, Marines Toys for Tots, Highmark, Buffalo Public Schools, Target, and Walmart, as well as numerous local businesses and independent donors who share our commitment to serving families in need.
The Toys for Joy Giveaway is more than just a toy distribution event. It is a community celebration where families can receive toys, food, clothing, and access valuable community resources. Local vendors, volunteers, and community partners come together to create a welcoming atmosphere that makes the day a memorable experience for children and parents alike.
